About danceversion

danceversion is a small, editorial magazine for electronic music. It started as a notebook for records bought from Bandcamp and the playlists those records ended up in. It has been quiet for a while. This is the relaunch.

For now it publishes two kinds of thing: articles — short pieces on labels, records, and scenes — and playlists — DJ sets and listening sessions, exported from Rekordbox.

No algorithms, no infinite scroll, no AI-generated covers. Just a magazine.
